George Clement III Obituary

George Sidney Clement, III passed away on June 29, 2024, at home in Hammond, LA, at the age of 81. He was born on July 15, 1942, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Sidney, Jr. and Hazel Vicknair Clement and was a resident of Hammond, LA. Known to family and friends as "Sonny", he proudly served in the United States Navy and retired from Dupont as a Computer Specialist. George is survived by his wife, Virginia Clement; his son, Christopher Clement; his daughters, Courtney Clement and Kelly Clement; his granddaughters, Shelbi Clement and Keri Clement; his great-grandchildren, Coleman and Claylynn Flott; his brother, Breland Clement; and his sisters, Trixie Poche, Jennifer Remondet, and Judy Stromeyer. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; his brother, Kerry Clement; and his sister Debra (Debbie) Clement. A native of Reserve and a resident of Hammond. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with services following.
