Geraldine Peeler Obituary

A homemaker, resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at her home. She was 70. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 11, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Raynell Smith, pastor. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by her daughters, Sylvia Foster, Penelope Foster, Melonie Foster, Marsha Foster and Natalie Foster Lawrence; son-in-law, Fred Lawrence; sisters, Katherine Peeler Malone, Rosa M. Peeler and Lois Peeler; brothers, Scott Peeler Jr. and Donald Peeler; ex-husband, Sylvester Foster Jr.; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents, Scott Peeler Sr. and Lillian Dawson Peeler; daughter, Trudy Foster; brothers, Michael Peeler, Leroy Peeler and John Peeler; and sister, Gale Peeler.
