Stephen and Kristen,
Our thoughts and prayers go to both of you and your families in this very difficult time. My parents lost a child to Rheumatic Fever at the age of 7 years ago. A very dear friend and Minister shared these words with my mother. She claimed this is what gave her the strength and want she needed to continue..."Life is for the living. You must continue to live with the memory of "Ian" as your strength and support from this day forward." May you find strength in his memory, and know he is one of God's precious little angels now and forever.
God Bless You!

Stephen and Kristen:
God's word promises us that he will never leave us nor forsake us and he will never put more on us than we can handle. Remember this in the days ahead knowing that God is surrounding you both with his love. Just remember on those sad days that Ian is smiling down on his mom and dad! May God bless you both in the days ahead!

I can’t begin to know the depth of your sorrow over the loss of your son Ian. I came to know him through his grandma Rhonda. All his up’s and down’s was relayed to a group of us at Dresser-Rand, and we rode the emotional roller coaster with Rhonda. We cheered him on when his condition improved and cried tears at our desks when things didn’t look good, but through it all grandma Rhonda was always optimistic. So it was with sad heart to hear little Ian lost his battle. But I told Rhonda; he must have been a very special little boy for God to want him back at his side so soon. God bless you and keep you, and may his light always shine upon you.

Ian, you weren't here long enough for us to get to know and spoil you. But you were here here long enough to live in our hearts forever. Your brave fight will inspire us.
Kristen and Ian,
Sorry for your tragic loss.

Kristen & Stephen,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that this is a very difficult time, but know that it is all in God's plan and His hands. Ian is now without pain and sickness and is having a joyful time walking the streets of gold with Jesus.
To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. A time to break down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. Let God be there to help build you up, and take the moments that you need to weep and mourn, but also know that little Ian is in heaven whole, perfect and pain free dancing and laughing and enjoying Jesus as we will one day too. Even though I dont know Stephen, I love you both. God Bless You and keep you in His loving arms.

Dear Kristen, Steven and family, We are so sorry for your loss. Even though we didn't get to meet Ian, he touched all of us. He was such a little fighter and Rhonda shared with us daily all of his cute little personality traits. I was hoping so bad to be able to hold and kiss him. I know I will be able to do that someday, as will you. Even though none of us understand today, God will show us when he's ready. Trust in his never ending love. Kristen & Steven ~
It's hard to know or understand what God's plan is when he calls one of our little Angels home. But, I am convinced that he does have a plan. I am witnessing to you that my life has unquestionably been enriched by being touched by the life of our little Ian. His life was so short, but his sweet, pure, saintly little soul had immeasurable impact on those who loved him. He departed the same way he arrived...PERFECT in Goodness and Righteousness.... Completely free of any earthly guilt or sin. We were visited for a short time by one of Heavens Angels. Yes,.. we who were touched by the life of little Ian Palmer are left with a desire to become better human beings. Perhaps this is part of Gods plan....Thank you for enriching my life with the gift of Ian Boyd Palmer!!
We love you dearly,
~Aunt Bobbi~

DEAR KRISTEN AND STEPHEN:
YOU DON'T KNOW ME BUT I KNOW ROXANNE. SHE USED TO WORK FOR ME, STEVEN WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE AND WE WORK TOGETHER AGAIN AT BRG. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. THERE ARE CERTAINLY NO WORDS THAT I CAN OFFER TO YOU AT THIS TIME EXCEPT TO SAY THAT I WILL PRAY FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH THIS. THOUGH I AM SURE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL, YOU CAN BE ASSURED THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL AND HAD BETTER PLANS FOR YOUR LITTLE BABY. MY PRAYER IS THAT GOD WILL HEAL YOUR WOUNDS AND ALLOW YOU TO BE ABLE TO SEE SUNNY DAYS AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOU. YOUR MOM KNOWS HOW TO REACH ME IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU...

Little Angels
When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, we mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold, so He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, the saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye". So when a little child departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves children, angels are hard to find.

Kristen & Steven,
I work with Esther. Little Ian has been in our office's prayer group prayers since he was brought into this world. It's hard to understand why God wanted your "little angel" brought back Home so soon, but you will be in my daily prayers that you can find some comfort and peace in your little miracle. May the Good Lord surround you two and Ian with His love and protection and peace.
With very warm hugs, Nancy Taylor

Dear Kris and Stephen, you know how much our family hurts for the two of you at this time. Just know, Ian is now back in heaven with God, sweet and smiling. I know you will both meet him one day and talk to him, but until that time, he is your special little angel watching over you. We love ya'll.

Dear Steven and Kristen,
I am so sorry Ian had to leave you so soon. God must have had a special plan for him in heaven. Even though he was only with you a short time, him memory and the happiness and joy he brought you will never be forgotten.
Love, Mrs. Linda
