Ja'Quiland Jawon "Jay" "Cowboy" Jackson

Ja'Quiland Jackson, a native and resident of Ethel, LA, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, at the age of 18. He was a graduate of East Feliciana High School, Class of 2017 and attended Baton Rouge Community College. Ja'Quiland was employed at Anvil Attachments as a Welder. He is survived by his loving and devoted mother Chiquntra "Shell" Davis, Ethel, LA; sister, Ja'Kaila Jackson and brother, Ke'Dariun Jackson, both of Ethel, LA; Grandparents, Brenda and John Watson of Clinton, LA; Great Grandmother, Luegnia Davis, Ethel, LA; four Aunts, Corlette Sims, Zachary, LA, Karen Bibbins, St. Francisville, LA, Rhonda Butler, and Shanice Butler, both of Laurel, MS; three uncles, LaJarric Sims, Clinton, LA, Ronald Butler, Jr., Laurel, MS, and a devoted uncle, Willie Lee Sims, Jr., Ethel, LA; a special cousin, Takisha (Derrick) Elliott of Zachary, LA. Ja'Quiland is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Butler; great grandmother, Elizabeth Butler; and great grandfather, Clifford Davis. Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at Richardson Funeral Home, Clinton from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 9:00 am until the start of the religious service at 11:00 am at the East Feliciana Professional Development Learning Center, 9414 Highway 67, Clinton, LA, Pastor Dennis Grimes, of Restoration Christian Center, officiating.
