Jackie Diane Hoyt Tantillo Ard

Age 63 passed away peacefully in her home in Leslie Arkansas on July 8, 2014. She was born in Independence , LA on February 26, 1951. She graduated from Hammond High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Katherine Hoyt, three sisters, Bonnie Lopez, Joan Mahan and Henrietta Sally Hoyt. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Ard, Aunt, Octavia Boothe, Sister, Ada (Sis) McCullen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was well known from her performances as a singer around Southern Louisiana. She worked for an extended time at the Baton Rouge Business Report and recently worked in McComb, MS for Jim Alford. She and her husband lived in Osyka , MS prior to settling into their new home in Leslie, Arkansas nestled in the woods as this was a long time dream for them both. She spent many days enjoying the surrounding woods and nature while walking with her beloved dog Sadie. Jackie will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
