1957 - 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of James "Jimmy" Blank announce his passing. On Saturday, August 14, 2021, Jimmy Blank of White Castle passed away at the age of 64 years old. Jimmy fought, strong and courageously, a two year battle with cancer. He had such strength, having to face cancer every single day, day after day, week after week, and month after month. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his mom, Edna Mae Medine Blank, seven brothers, Willie (Ronda) Blank, Dennis (Audrey) Blank, Mike (Karen) Blank, Raymond Blank, Jr., Jackie Blank, Charlie (Jolene) Blank, Eric (Rhonda) Blank; four sisters, Judith Blank, Sharon (Randy) Morales, Nancy (Jon) Ester, Mary (Tim) Carbo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond J. Blank, Sr. He worked as a carpenter and also worked at Trinity Marine. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and in the last 10 years of his life he had a love for grafting and raising pecan trees. Jimmy was well known by many and had many friends. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
