Jason Alder Obituary

Jason William Alder died surrounded by his loving family on January 2nd, 2023. He was a native of Vancouver and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Jason was survived by parents, Debra and Jacob; two children that he cared for as his own, Abby and Trace; a sister Layla and husband Mark; three nephews, Zane, Marcus, and Gabriel; two nieces, Emma and Chloe; grandparents, Victor and Maggie; and a fiancée, Kalisha, who we will always cherish for the love and compassion she showed to our son. Preceded in death by his brother Jake and grandparents, Charles and Elise. Special thanks to all those that walked beside us; friends, family, nurses, and doctors. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity. Please contact family for funeral arrangements.
