I think about you every single day and usually shed a tear or two. Some days are easier than others but I always try and stay strong. One day I will see you again and then we can embrace like we used too when I would come to visit. In a few weeks we will have a family re-union and we will all think about you in our on ways as we honor your memory. I will never forget all the times we spent playing sports with each other or video games, yes those are my good times these days. Your memory will be forever embedded in my thoughts, so remember I am always thinking of you my brother. Love you!

I wish Heaven had a phone so we could hear your voice again. We thought of you today, but that is nothing new. We thought of you yesterday; and the days before that too. Opie... Life definetly wont be as bright without you. We all miss you so much its indescribable! You will forever live in our memories and the opie stories are endless. We will alwalys cherish them. You are irreplacable and we feel we lost more than a friend, we lost a brother!! Thank you for always being there everytime we needed you... smiling of course! Opie was a top class person and a GREAT friend. There is no doubt that my life, all our lives, has been made better by knowing him.

"Opie", as all of us new him on our soccer team this past year, was a GREAT teammate and friend. He always had a smile to give out and a quiet laugh. We will miss him very much as a person and as a phenomenal soccer player. Were all were deeply saddened to hear about his passing but wanted to tell his family that he brightened everybodys life that got to meet him!

I first met Opie at the soccer fields a couple of years ago and my first impression was: Man, this guy has energy! Like so many others have mentioned, he was always smiling and running hard. I'll never forget the day he played in a tournament with us and afterwards tells me, "Well, gotta go so I can make my basketball game." Amazing... his personality and energy will be missed by all of my teammates.

Opie always had a smile and hug for me when he came to visit Joshua and and at the bon fires at New Years Eve and I still got those hugs after he graduated when we saw him. Opie was a good friend of my son, Justin Gaudin. He was a kind, gentle and thoughtful young man. He was always ready and willing to help us when we were in need. A tree crushed my house during Katrina and he was there to help move our belongings out of the house and into storage. Nine months later when Justin called his friends to help move them back into the house, he again showed up with his wonderful smile and quiet kind spirit to help.
Today I hope you know, all of you remain covered with a continuous prayer for a devine strength, and comfort to be with you in the days and months to follow.
I share deeply in your sorry as remembrance of Opie offers its comfort.

I first met jeremy when i was about 10 years old. We were on the Galvez tigers football team. Jeremy and i were probably the two smallest guys out there but we both always seem to have a blast. Though we never really kept in touch everytime we seen each other it was always a good greeting. Some people you will never forget and Jeremy is one of those guys. Hope the best for the everyone through this tragedy.
