Rest In Peace my Friend !
The first time I met John and his family was soon after I moved to Laurel Ridge in 1980.
They like to walk the levie and the path went near where I had placed my trailer.
I was layed up sick and they came threw on one of there walked and he noticed with winter coming I had not cut fire wood yet,.
I explained I'd Ben under the weather and not able to get to it yet, nothing else was said about it, and they went off on there walk.
Well the next morning around daylight we heard a saw going out back ?
It was John, he had came over and cut a tree down and by lunch had it cut up, split, and stacked.
From a man I had only just met, wanting nothing in return but my friendship, and he deftly got that !
Threw out the years I learned to listen when he explained something to me because He had a vast wisdom on many things including living in these woods and swamps and dident mind sharing
I alwase respected him and was a better man for knowing him.
Rest In Peace my Friend !

To the Lessard Family ; offering prayers and sympathy to all of you. Mr. John was a nice man. I remember him from growing up down the street from him. He & Mrs Lois would visit my family sometimes. He did love to hunt. May God be with you all during this time of sorrow. No more pain. Remember all the good times you all had with Mr John.
