I haven't spoken to Kenneth since 7th grade, but here I am talking to a friend about my first boyfriend. I wanted to look him up just to see. Admittedly, this was hard to believe--I didn't expect that I'd be reading his obituary. I'm glad that I knew him back then and that he was always a great friend above anything else. He put up with my crazy, dramatic middle-school self. My condolences go out to the family.

I would like to take this time out to say this to the my homie/co-worker family. The day that I've heard about the passing of "Kenneth." I felt hurt inside and couldn't believe it. Kenneth was indeed a great person who was positive, carried a good spirit of energy and he was caring. I was blessed and honor to be someone that he has chose to talk to and hung out with on the job. I was also honor to share my locker with him. When I didn't have money to buy something to eat, he had offer to buy food for me and I was blessed to do the same for him. It was awesome to know that he had people on the job that ended up liking him and loved talking to him even though they haven't known him long enough or got the chance like I did to hang with him. It was truly a blessing to see how he had left just enough piece of him to everyone to the point that they all cried, loved and really miss him after they have heard that he had passed. I really miss my homie, I looked at him like a lil brother to me. I had to push myself to go to his funeral and to see him laid down in the casket, was hard for to see him and I was really hurt. I want his family to know that I really miss him and that im truly sorry that they had lost an awesome and great kid. I wanted to meet his family on the day of the funeral but I knew that it wouldn't be the right time to meet them while they all were in tears and was hurt/in alot of pain. I pray that I will get a chance to talk to them. Of they so happen to read this message, I would like for his mother or father to give me a call at (214) 412-6665. May "The Most High" be with you all, heal yall, strengthen yall up, shine his awesome love down on you all and forever blessed you all.

Take your rest nephew. The pain is always worse when a great human dies. You were Loved by so many. Watching Kelis n Myra cry broke my heart. And your dad where do I begin. He's an amazing father and seeing my best friend go through this is mind numbing. You earned your wings too soon, but we can't question God. You kiss your baby sister and watch over your family.
