I was thinking about Kirby just the other day. We always had such a great time at the chiefs conventions. No one could dance like Kirby! He was such a good and kind soul, who loved Jenny with every beat of his heart. I sure miss my friend.

Mrs. Jenny my condolences for the loss of Mr. Kirby. Y´all were another set of parents to me. I have some very fond memories of fishing out by the locks on False River with Mr. Kirby and William, along with the other fishing trips we all took. They loved laughing at me fighting those big goo or the striped bass. I won´t forget that laugh. You´re always in my heart. All my love and prayers to y´all. Kindly, DNL-Tammy Jarreau

Kirby helped me get on with the New Roads Police Department and really looked out and took care of me while I worked there. I will never forget what a good and kind man he was and will surely miss him. May God bless Kirby's family

My deepest sympathy for his entire family. He was a hard worker since his early years in the fields to serving and protecting our town for 38 years. He was so kind and friendly to everyone he meet. I enjoyed seeing him have fun at the poka machines at Paragon Casino every week for years. He will be sadly missed by many. Sending prayers

Me, my wife Linda and Kirby used to fish the lighthouse canal on False River, and we would catch stripers and record Goo Fish. Kirby was the one that told me to start using live crawfish. We would enjoy our day fishing together. He would also tell us stories of how he grew up around New Roads as a Young Man. You will be missed Kirby. With love, Your brother-in-law Mike
