I'm truly sorry to hear about your lost. I worked with Toya at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church After School Program (REED). She was a very outgoing a person, and always true to her word. A person of love and concern for others. May the memories held deep within your heart help soothe your spirit at this difficult time. Toya will be greatly missed.

Toya was an excellent person, who I am glad to have an opportunity to meet. I was Jamie's kindergarten teacher and in Toya I found a new friend. She was kind, outspoken, funny, and loving. I will greatly miss her. I pray that God be with you all during your time of bereavement.

I am so very sorry that Toya has left us. She was a very sweet person. She and my sister Michelle were good friends. I'm truly going to miss her but I know that God is taking very good care of her now. I pray that God will comfort you, her family, and know that he will continue to watch over the kids and you all.

I have so much love for Ms. Toya. She and I worked together at a time when I was just beginning to find myself. She showed so much love and structure to the children we worked with. She loved her three even more and for me that was hard to imagine. I learned a lot from her and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

My mom (Miss Hannah) provided Daycare services to JaQuan and "J.J" (Karla's son) in the mid 1990's at her Home Daycare. LaToya and her sister Karla were both dedicated, hardworking young ladies back then. I could only imagine how far they'd come. Our prayers are with the family especially the kids, may God's love comfort you during this most difficult time.

I would always ask her co-workers how she was coming along, b/s I lost my mother to breast cancer...5 yrs ago! My child attends the school Ms. Toya was a teacher at, I know she will be greatly missed. Your family will forever be in my prayers! To her 3 children God bless, and you may not understand this, but you didn't lose your mother, you gained another guardian angel(she was an angel already, but now she can be everywhere you are). I love you, and be strong!

I met Toya back some years ago getting her hair done at the "shop". She was always a very funny and free spirited person. Having a friend like that is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Her kids were her life and just the thought of her not being on this earth is unreal. But at the same time she will live on in her kids. She will always be on my mind because she was a very positive person to have been around and everyone needs that type of solice. I will pray for her family in their time of bereavement. She will be missed.
