Lawrence "Guice" Farr Jr.

Lawrence "Guice" Farr, Jr.passed away Nov. 5, 2014 at The Butterfly Wing. He was born Dec. 14, 1947 in Centreville, MS and a resident of Watson, LA. He proudly served our country with two tours in Vietnam in the United States Army. He was also an accomplished business man in the HVAC trade. He was a member of the Baton Rouge Southeast Lions Club. He served lionism for 20 years holding various positions and a great supporter of the Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation and the Louisiana Lions Crippled Childrens' Camp. He was an avid salt water fisherman and loved to travel. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Nancey Wiseman Farr, of Watson; mother, Mary Farr of Walker; brother, Walter Farr and wife, Debra of Denham Springs; 3 daughters, Shawn Martin and husband, Craig of Scott, Keesha Stock and fiancé' David Jagot of Baton Rouge; star Maher and husband, Sean of Watson; sons, Jeff Priest of Saucier, MS; son John Farr of Washington, DC; 7 granddaughter, Hannah Priest and her mother, Becky, Ashtyn Waguespack, Lorin Martin, Madisyn Martin, Morgan Stock, Macey Stock, Ainsley Maher; grandsons, Michael Stock, Austin Waguespack, and Brandon Maher; great-granddaughter, Harper Claire Waguespack; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Guice Farr, Sr. The Louisiana Lions Crippled Childrens' Camp was dear to his heart and if anyone wishes to make a donation in his name to the camp, they may at 292 L.
