Leslie David "Les" Gomez

Leslie 'Les' David Gomez passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the age of 35. He was a resident and native of Addis, LA. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 10am until prayer service at 12:30pm, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine at 2pm. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Les is survived by his wife, Brandy Lewis Gomez; sons, Bentley, Abel and Dawson Gomez; mother, Jolene Loubiere Blank and husband Charles; father, Lewis 'Buck' Gomez, Jr.; siblings, Fallon Cavalier and husband Justin, Landon Blank and fiancé Dacia Adams, and Ashlyn Gomez and Caleb Boesch; step-mother, April Gomez; nephews, Westin and Walker Cavalier; grandmother, Edna Mae Blank; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Bryce Gomez; niece, Stevie Jo Blank; and grandparents, David 'Les' and Erma Jo Loubiere, Catherine LeBlanc Gomez, and Lewis J. Gomez, Sr. Pallbearers will be Charles Blank, Landon Blank, James 'Pic' Gomez, Justin Cavalier, Josh Keller, Jacorey Rineheart, Caleb Boesch, and Robert Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Gomez, Blayze Gomez, and Blake Alexander. Les loved to spend time with his family, especially his boys, and enjoyed sports activities with them. He enjoyed working out, and cooking. Les was a man of God, had a heart of gold and faithful member of Church at Addis. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at OLOL CCU.
