Lester Allen 'Trey' McLin III

Lester "Trey" Allen McLin, III came into this world on November 26, 1974 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a lifelong resident of Livingston, Louisiana. Surrounded by his loved ones in his Livingston residence, he was called home to his Lord and Father, Jesus Christ on October 27, 2016 at the age of 41. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his fun loving spirit and ability to overcome any obstacle faced. He was a man of tremendous courage and tenacity and a beloved and cherished son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his mother Annette Babb McLin; father and stepmother, Lester, Jr. and Dee Ann McLin; Sisters, Erica and husband Bryan Wilson; Courtney and husband Billy Taylor; Mistelle and husband Sean Fisher; and Katie Manno. Nieces and nephews Sydney Taylor, Gracie Taylor, Kendall Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Shelby Taylor, Patrick Fisher, and Benjamin Fisher. Maternal grandfather Raymond Lydell Babb and wife Genny Babb, paternal grandmother Maxie Fairburn McLin and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Geneva Pitre Babb, paternal grandfather, Lester Allen McLin, Sr. and all of his great grandparents. With such an unwavering love for his family and friends, he was an inspiration to all the lives in which he touched. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and continues on Monday, October 31 starting at 8:00am until funeral services begin at 11:00am. All services to be held at Livingston United Methodist Church located at 29725 South Poplar Street, Livingston, LA 70754. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Stephen Hebert. Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin & Manley Funeral Home and Cremation Service, of Walker. Internment will follow at Gateway Gardens Memorial Park located at 29245 S. Magnolia Ave, Livingston, LA 70754. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from which he is a surviving patient.
