Dad, I am grateful for the time that God had allowed for my sister and I to get to know you. The one thing that I can definately say is that everytime I called you, you were there. You never told me no, even when I needed refuge. Thanks for being there for me in my times of need. Rest on!! You deserve it.

Dear Uncle Lionel, I still struggle with the fact that you are no longer here with us. We miss you so much. You were such a kind and loving person. I wish you could have stayed with us a little longer but God had other plans for you and those plans are much better than anything we can offer on earth. You will forever be remembered for your kindness and a smile that could light up a room. As I was driving home, I was grieving for you. As I looked up I saw a shooting star. I've never seen a shooting star! I know it was you giving me a wink that everything is OK. RIP Uncle Lionel. love, Jeanell
