As others have stated, Lonnie was a man of great integrity, but also great humor. Prior to his illness, he started to be very fitness aware. We knicknamed him "The Audit Stud." I am truly grateful to have had the honor and opportunity to learn from Lonnie and to have made his acquaintance.

Lonnie and I worked together years ago at the Legislative Auditor's Office. He had a great outlook on life and brightened the world with his humor. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope your memories of Lonnie will provide you with comfort.

Lonnie was a wonderful person. I respected him personally and professionally. Integrity and honor were his middle name. He spoke of his wife and children daily. There was no doubt that his family was his first priority. He will be missed and my prayers are with his family. God Bless.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing and working with Lonnie for 30 years. He was a man of character and integrity who always represented himself in a professional manner. He was a loving husband and father of two boys who have become great young men. Lonnie cherished his time with his family, and always made the most of life. Lonnie has left a great legacy to Claire, Richard, and Michael. Our prayers and thoughts are with them during this difficult time.

He was a good husband and father. No matter where he was, he came home at the end of the day to be with his family. His passing will certainly be a big void in your lives.
