Lucia Taravella "Lucy" Barcellona

Barcellona, Lucia "Lucy" Taravella, 81, a resident of Zachary and native of Alia, Sicily, died on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Visitation will be at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Zachary on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 9:00 am until mass at 11:00 am. Entombment will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum, Baton Rouge. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalie Barcellona Oubre and husband Kent of Geismar, and son, Antonio "Tony" Barcellona and wife Andree of Zachary, sisters, Mattea Montagnino and Mary Denham and husband Mike, Brothers, Vincent Taravella and wife Jane and Joe Taravella, grandchildren, Anthony Barcellona, John Barcellona, Jennifer Charleville, Melissa Smith, Megan Oubre and Brienna Oubre, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nino Barcellona, brother, John Taravella and sister Sylvia Montagnino.
