Lynette Jacobs Obituary

Lynette Pedescleaux Jacobs, a homemaker and a resident of Geismar, LA, she passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Baton Rouge General-Ascension in Prairieville, LA. She was 56 and a native of Donaldsonville, LA. Viewing will be held at Demby & Son Funeral Home on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Donaldsonville, LA on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Charles Brown, Sr. Interment will be in Burton Lane Cemetery, St. James, LA. She is survived by her husband, Corey Jacobs; mother, Odette Nelson; stepmother, Ruby Pedescleaux; daughters, Dynette Pedescleaux and Breyana Pedescleaux, son, Everret (Janae) Pedescleaux, sister, Edith (Roland) Jeffery, godmother, Katherine Dennis, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Pedescleaux, Jr.; brother, Christopher Pedescleaux; grandparents, Edith and Ovide Dennis, Sr.; Ernest Pedescleaux, Sr. and Audrey Stewart. She was a graduate of Donaldsonville High School. Arrangements entrusted to Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, LA. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing are required.
