Martha Evelyn Mallory Dolese

Martha Evelyn Mallory Dolese passed away in her sleep on Monday October 30th in Gulfport, Ms. at the age of 87. Martha was an LSU graduate, member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and a native of New Orleans, La. She was married for 55 years to the love of her life, Robert S. Dolese. Martha is survived by her 3 sons Robert Edward "Ned" Dolese (Shelley) of Pass Christian, Ms., Cliffton B. Dolese II of Baton Rouge, La. and Andrew Mallory Dolese of Telluride, Co.; 2 sisters-in-law, Kathleen Dolese Gros of Thibodeaux, La. Coralie Dolese Savoie (Judge Felix Henry Savoie)of Baton Rouge, La.; 3 grandchildren, Robert, Thomas and Caroline Dolese and their mother, Kay Dolese Schrader of Baton Rouge, La.; brother, Jim Mallory (Darlene)of Atlanta, Ga., niece, Kimberly Dejno (Greg) of Athens, Ga. and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Dolese, nephews, Ray Calecas Jr., Jason Edward Mallory, her parents Bud and Helen Mallory, in Laws, Dr. Robert Dolese and wife, Edrye, sister-in-law, Audrey Dolese Calecas, (Dr. Ray Calecas) and brother-in-law Dr. Ridley Gros. Services will be held at St Joseph's Co-Cathedral in Thibodeaux, La. On Sat November 18th, 2023. Visitation begins at 10 am with mass starting at 11am followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Fr. Frank Uter will be the celebrant. Martha was a member of various Women's support groups and social clubs. She was always happy to see and meet new people and share her love of food, music, and all things Louisiana. Martha never met a stranger! In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, PO Box 5718, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018, St. Joseph's Academy and Catholic High School of Baton Rouge.
