Mary Hotard Obituary

A retired secretary and a longtime resident of Maringouin, she died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Pointe Coupee Health Care in New Roads. She was 73 and a native of Maringouin. Visiting at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Maringouin on Friday, July 9, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Arun John. Entombment in Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum. She is survived by her mother, Nola Pourciau Webre, of Maringouin; a sister and brother-in-law, Dolores Poche and Paul, of Maringouin; nieces, Tammy Smith and husband Jeff, and Sharon Bellelo and husband Kerry, all of Maringouin, and Lisa David and husband Chris, of Livonia; nine great-nieces and great-nephews and four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Stark Davis Hotard; and father, Morris Webre. Pallbearers will be Paul Poche, Ricky Webre, Jason Smith, Kerry Bellelo, Chris David and Jeff Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Milton and Irvis Pourciau, Bryan and Chad Bellelo, Jeffrey and Jared Smith, Christian David and John Blair Webre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Janelle LaCombe Foundation. Many thanks to Fresenius Dialysis Center and Pointe Coupee Health Care for their many years of love, care and support.
