I can remember when Matt and I got into an argument in Mrs. Page English class our Senior year over some stupid stuff and I even got Sat. in-school suspension over it...and I was so mad at him and upset! But then he came up to me and sad sorry and after that we were real cool! We always picked on eachother and called eachother names! I just can't believe another one of my classmate is gone! Its so hard to believe! He always had a big smile and the main memory I have of him other than stupid incident is that blue GMC Truck that he loved and rode around in our Senior Yr.!!! He will be missed! Mine and Nicks prayers are with you and your family!

To The Family,

I haven’t been able to quit thinking about these three young brothers. My two sons, Jake and Matt, and I were duck hunting just down the road from Matt and his brothers. We were informed of the accident right after it occurred. My heart sank and I have been filled with sadness and grief ever since. As a duck hunter and a Dad I feel a connection to these young men who were spending quality time together; a special time as they shared in the excitement and camaraderie of being on a duck hunt together.

Our own hunts together are very special to us, and with such a tragedy, I will cherish these times together with my sons that much more. We may not have known these young men personally, but we won’t forget them. Our thoughts, prayers and concerns go out to them and your family. News of their passing has deeply touched us. It’s a very sobering reminder of how fleeting and fickle life is and why it’s important to cherish the moment and time spent together. God’s speed to the surviving brother, and your family during this very difficult time.

Scott & Family, know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. It was an honor to have met all your family during my 2006 visit. I will especially cherish the memory of meeting Mathew and Ben then.

Becky & Scott,
I taught Matt at St Theresa when he was really young and he was quite a character then. He never forgot me and that was really special. When he worked at Sno's, he would come to my table to talk to Chad & me with so much enthusiasm. He used such good manners when speaking to us and sometimes would stay at our table talking about his future and his Savior for 30 minutes or so! He was precious to me and more importantly, precious in God's eyes. You raised a beautiful son ---- you will be blessed with many, many wonderful memories. God bless you & your families during this most difficult and trying time.

Beth and Scott,
I failed to mention anything about Matthew. I did not know him but knowing you two and Olivia, I am sure that he was a wonderful son and brother. He must have been a wonderful brother to take his little brothers on a hunting trip. Know that everyone around St. Francisville is praying for the whole family.

Scott, Beth, Josh, and Olivia:
My family and I wish to send our deepest condolences to your family. My daughter, Taylor, was very upset to hear about Ben. He has been in her class several years, and Hope was very upset for her soccer "buddy", Olivia. We will be praying for you and hope that God continues to carry you through this dark time. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. We would be glad to help with Olivia and Josh if you need time. Call anytime if you need to talk or want someone to come over to be with you (784-2304).
