Nadine R. Gabor

1937 - 2023

Nadine R. Gabor 09/25/1937 - 01/21/2023. Nadine Gabor passed away peacefully, with her Rosary in her hand, on January 21, 2023, at the age of 85. Nadine was born and raised in her beloved village of Morganza, LA. She was a retired Pointe Coupee Parish school board employee and spent her retirement serving the church parish of Saint Ann's in various capacities as a lector, eucharistic minister, and bringing communion to the sick. Nadine was also a longtime member of Court Isabella 809 Catholic Daughters of America. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Victor J. Gabor, her parents Oliver and Adele Ramagos, two brothers Kermit and Neal Ramagos and one sister Ann Chenevert. She is survived by her four children, Christine Landry, Roger Gabor (Holly), Tim Gabor (Stacey), and Chodie Gabor (M.Reina), five grandchildren, Angela Landry, Mason and Zane Gabor, Olivia and Amelia Gabor, three brothers OJ, Thomas and Marshall Ramagos, and two sisters, Pam LeCoq and Susie Vosburg, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Nadine was blessed to have the care of Melanie Chenevert, Pamela Lecoq , David Jarreau, and Lisa Dalton, which allowed her to stay in her beloved Morganza, until the final 2 weeks of her life. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 with viewing beginning at 8:30 am with the Rosary at 9:30 am followed by a Catholic burial Mass at 11:00 am. Pallbearers will be Mason Gabor, Zane Gabor, Whitney LeCoq, Zachary LeCoq, Madison LeCoq, and Tyler LeCoq. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Jarreau and Kade Lecoq. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Lakeview Manor, Pointe Coupee Hospice, and the care provided by Dr. Ashley Bordelon.
