Dear Bro.& Mrs. Case, David, Cherie& Family, I, only today, heard of Paul's passing. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I remember Paul as a J.V. basketball player when I played against David in H.S. And later when I worked with Bro. Tim at Denham Road. We played some games after church on Sunday Nights. We were not close friends, but I so enjoyed hanging out with him, and remember him as a young man of character. The news affected me profoundly, I will miss him greatly. God bless and keep u all. You are all in my prayers. Please, If I may help in any way, let me know.

To the Case family,
I first met Paul when he came to California for the Dow Chem. job. It was obvious after just a short time that Paul and I would become close friends. I introduced Paul to my wife and family and of course they all fell in love with him. We all agreed that Paul was the kindest person we had ever met. Paul and I spent alot of time together working, fishing, and playing ball so we had plenty of time to talk. Some of the great things that Paul and I talked about will always have a lasting impression in our lives. I'm proud to say that I met and was a friend of Paul Case. We love him and he will be greatly missed! We count it a Blessing to have known him! Your in our prayers,

Cherie:

I just found out about Paul, and I am so, so sorry. I wish there were words that I could say that would help ease your pain. Faith, love of friends and family, and time -- these are the things will help heal the wounds. Hang in there.

Your friend always,

Mark

It seems like only a short time ago, Paul and I were in second grade, fighting on the playground over who was going to be Dori Buchannan's boyfriend. We played together and on separate teams in football. I'm sorry you all had to lose Paul this way, my mother did the same thing April 6,2004. I cannot imagine the loss of a child. Just know that he now walks with the man who walked on water, and one day soon you will see him again.

Dear Cherie and the entire Case family,

I moved to California to be Paul's supervisor over three years ago. Little did I know how meeting Paul and Cherie Case would affect my life. We were these three pretty conservative Louisiana people dropped in this big liberal melting pot. I was Paul's supervisor but he and Cherie became my friends and local support family. I remember frying a turkey on their patio out here on Thanksgiving. We were sure someone was going call the fire department. I took Paul to the airport the last time he flew home and sat with him and talked for 3 hours before he got on the plane. How I value those hours now. I am a better person for knowing both Paul and Cherie. My world has not been as bright since Paul and Cherie moved back to LA. I will do what ever I can for you Cherie and the Case Family.

Dear Brother Case, Mrs. Case and David,

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. My sister, Sherri, called today, Monday and told me the terrible news.

Even though it's been years since I have seen all of you, I want you to know that I think of you often and with fond memories.

I will always remember Paul as a small, sweet little boy. I know he grew into a fine young man that gladded your hearts and made you proud to call him son.

Please know that my prayers will be with your entire family during this difficult time. I would love to hear from ya'll, but I will respect your privacy and hope that one of you will call me.

I still love all of you and miss you.
