I knew Peter from Tara pool from when we were children. It is 10/2011, and I was looking Peter up after all these years to visit him. Peter will always be a huge part of the good times I had as a kid. Tubing, Coach Robelo, Kelly Moran, Scott Gandy were all friends who also loved Peter. You are missed. Sorry I didnt catch up sooner.

Webster says a person whom one knows well and is fond of,an ally, supporter,or sympathizer is a friend. Peter was that to me. May God comfort the whole family now and forever in your sorrow. It would be too long to list all the things we were involved in together during our thirty year plus friendship! I did realize over the past ten days that he was the only person that I was on swim teams with, tennis teams with, and also played golf together. Then I almost forgot that he was one of the only friends that I worked with. One summer we started at 7 in the morning whether we stayed out late the night before or not...I was proud to stand in his wedding, and proud to have him stand in mine. The day that I spent with Peter that might just stand alone above all the rest was the day we realized we were not kids anymore. That was the day we drove to college together with our friend Harold. I can hear Peter laughing and saying something funny as I write this. He will be missed!

I worked with Peter over the years in the mortgage business. We kept in contact and saw each other occasionally for lunch...his favorite thing. My sister, Holly, and I also knew Peter growing up hanging out at Tara pool and Tara High School. I am very saddened to to hear about this so late. I spoke with him just a few weeks ago. I hope the family knows that he will be greatly missed by his friends that he has touched over the years.

Peter was one of the first people I met after starting A&B Mortgage in Baton Rouge. A class individual through and through--we shared some innovative ideas professionally that often came to fruition. Great LSU Tiger fan who is sorely missed!

Peter would come out and play tennis with a large group of guys on Thursday mornings at the YMCA. He stopped coming when he told me of his toe problem. I never saw him after that but I called him from time to time and we talked about his toe and his coming to play tennis. Just recently he indicated to me that he was planing to start playing once again. Our conversations were cordial and personal and I am deeply saddened to learn today(3/3/9) that Peter has passed. God bless Peter and his family. JAKE

"When I think of home I think of a resting place A place where theres peace, quiet, and serenity And thats where some of my friends have gone Friends who have traveled with me through my wonderful experience in life
A journey Ill never forget" I am a former coworker of Peter's. I sat next to him in training class and enjoyed the energy and hijinks he brought to the experience. We will never forget you, LD.

I will always remember our time together from cub scouts through our senior year at Tara. I pray for God's peace and comfort for Peter's family and friends. -Godbless

I will mss Peter;we have been friends since 1988 as we worked at American Bank together. He was a great friend as he always was willing to lend a helping hand. I also played softball with him for years.

My deepest prayers go out to the family.
Peter was a close friend of mine from 1978-1986. I saw him only a few times after that as we lost contact. We shared just about everything in a friendship in those days from: talks, trips, tennis, swimming, hanging out at Tara Pool and our folks homes. I will always remember the Peter that was kind and just wanted to have alot of fun in doing whatever. He always will have a place in my heart.

Peter was one of the first people I met when I moved to Baton Rouge 12 years ago. As a fellow mortgage broker/loan processor, we would sit for hours and talk and talk, not just about mortgages but everything else in between. I will miss him, his stories about his kids, and his love for LSU! To his family: you're all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

A beautiful soul and radiant smile has left this earth! Two things Peter always carried with him were a smile and a kind word. For Peter's family, I pray that God will give you the strength and peace to get through this very difficult time. Peter will live in your hearts forever and in the hearts of all of those he touched. Time will allow you to remember and cherish all of the wonderful memories of such a beautiful person. May God Bless all of you in your time of sorrow.
