As many have noted, Piotr was a brilliant, wise, creative and hard-working friend, and most of my many memories of and with him were boundary experiences in some form or another. From two years of SMHS Russian class and teenage rites of "hey bro" passage, to intense backpacking and camping trips, to finally and most fondly sharing a stage playing music together, I feel lucky to be among those who had the chance to know him well and grow through all he had to offer.

My sincere condolences and best wishes to Jill and all the Sygula family.

RIP, Pete... We miss you, man. May your energy and legacy carry on.

"Let"s love people till they are with us" - polish proverb

There were many thngs which I wanted to share with you,
Many places to show
Unfortunatelly we didn't get them.

We seldom meet people who understand us in a flash, without any words. That's who Piotrek was for me.

"Spieszmy sie kochac ludzi tak szybko odchodza"
(Let's love people till they are with us)

There were many things which I wanted to share with you,
Many places to show
Unfortunatelly we didn't get them

We very seldom meet people who really understand us in a flash, without any words. That's what kind of person Peter was like.
I am so sorry...

We knew Sygula since 1990 and saw Peter first time when he was entering in his teens. We saw him growing in Baton Rouge
and shared a lot of fun and good memories with him . He was very bright young man who did outstanding things at very young age. His great accomplishments surprised many of us. Yet he was very polite and humble.Peter will remain in our heart for rest of our lives. Our thoughts and Prayers are with his parents who are very good friends of our

You were the smartest, the most honest and mature person I've ever known. Thank You for all our talks, for every clever world and thought from You (during Your visit in Poland, from e-mails and phone-talks).
I always admired your maturity, responsibility for others. You are one of the most important people in my life – and You will be, forever.
I love You very much, and I will always love you.
You are not my cousin – you are my beloved brother.

Peter had that extremely rare combination of attributes, being both utterly brilliant and consistently humble. No matter how much his insight drove the vision, he wanted everyone involved to share in its rewards. He is indeed our loss and heaven's gain.

I will miss my partying "brother" very much. One of my favorite SMHS memories is with Peter. I will miss seeing him every year at the Biz Tech Expo very much. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Peter was a great visionary; yet he had the ability to make his visions come to fruition even when some may think his goals were too lofty. In business and in personal life, he always let his heart guide him to moral and ethical decisions. He will leave a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure to know him.

Peter was a brilliant man and a great friend. I regret that we did not stay in touch after LSU, but it was nice to hear updates from mutual friends throughout the years. My prayers go out to your family tonight in hopes that they may find peace during this tragic time.

Peter had the interesting ability to figure out what he wanted, to research it, to plan how to get it, and to convince others that they should want it too. More importantly, perhaps, he tried to be fair and honest with everyone, setting an impressive ethical standard for those of us who worked with him.
