Rene Watson was a very good man! He loved his family with all his heart and soul. The world is better for his having been here for 54 years. He is looking over his family and friends from heaven. Grief would be allowed by Rene briefly and then he would want you to laugh together and celebrate his life. He could always make me laugh!

To Rene's family, I was so surprised of Rene's passing. I've known him, for a long time, since grade school at EAA. In high school I went on to St Amant High but he always considered you a classmate no matter what. He always had a kind word and a smile on his face when you saw him and always a hug for you. GOD has a good man with him now, and you all have a guardian angel now and he will be watching over you all his family and friends. We will all miss you Rene!!
Love, Tracy Moran-Benzine

It's hard to believe that you are gone. I am going to really miss our late night talks. The world lost a good man when we lost you. You were such a good friend to me and you always knew how to brighten my day. I pray for peace and comfort for your children and family. I am looking forward to the day that we see each other again. We will both be pain free and made new and praising our Lord. Till then, my friend....

Dear Watson Family,
I was deeply honored when Rene' called me last week to tell me goodbye. Since then I have gotten to reflect on the many happy times he and I had back in college. Such a giving person who often took care of everyone else.
Just know that he was one of the coolest guys I know. Patient and warm hearted. His patience often gave him the talent to deliver the BEST prank or punchline.
He will forever be in my heart.
With love,

Watson Family,
My condolences are extended to the entire family during this time of great sadness. May God grant you the strength to focus on the goodness and happiness in Rene's life and how it is integrated with God's plan for all of us. He gave us his only son so that we may have eternal life.
God's Blessings and Peace to the Family,
