Richard Bosarge Obituary

Richard "Ricky" Bosarge, 62, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013. He was a native of Biloxi, Mississippi and resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. Ricky was a loving husband, brother, and uncle. He retired from Chemtura formerly known as Uniroyal in Geismar, Louisiana. He was a longtime member of the Krewe of Orion and an avid LSU fan. Ricky is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lisa Langlois Bosarge; mother, Betty Bosarge Landry, and her husband Donald; sisters, Cheryl Bosarge and Terri Bosarge Fitzgerald; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Ferrell Bosarge. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 10 am until funeral service at 1 pm. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart Association of Baton Rouge at 2644 S Sherwood Forest Blvd #108, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 or to The Cancer Society of Baton Rouge at 10528 Kentshire Ct, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
