Robert Gus "Bobby" Desselle and native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA departed this earthly life Sunday afternoon, August 6, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Irma Edwina Coleman; brother, Clifton Wright; aunt, Minnie Fulton; and his loving cousin, Kathy Desselle that took care of him during his illness. Also cherishing his memories are seven first cousins and a host of relatives and devoted friends. He will be missed here on earth but will rejoice in the reunion with his mother, Irma Wright; adopted parents Beatrice and Adam Desselle; brother, William Wright, and sister, Patricia Wright; and a host of relatives and friends who have joined the eternal family of God. Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2023, 9:30AM until religious services at 12:30PM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Fred Jeff Smith, 185 Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive Baton Rouge, LA. Conducted by Rev. W. Marshall Myles of New St. John Baptist Church and Rev. Dennis Hebert of True Light Baptist Church. Interment LA National Cemetery, Zachary, LA.
