Dr. Devlin was a wonderful teacher and a kind man. Mariam, do you remember when I taught you swimming lessons while my sister Viola taught your sisters? We had some good times. I just recently lost my father so I know how hard it is. Try to remember the good times. I know he will be missed by many people. Lorinda

To the Devlin Family,

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Devlin. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this very difficult time. I want you to know that I have very fond memories of him from my special education classes at LSU and from early Sunday morning Mass at St. Jude when my children were very small. He was a wonderful man with a wonderful family. God Bless you all and may your faith and courage bring you through this difficulty time.

Larissa,

I am very sorry for your loss. I couldn't be there because of prior commitments but I wanted you to know that you and your family were in my prayers this weekend. I know that you are very sad at this time but I hope and pray that your faith and memories give you comfort. May God be with you and your family at this time and may your father's soul rest in peace.

Regards, Cris

Martha, this scripture was shared with me when I lost loved ones. It brought me great comfort, so I share it with you. ( 1 Thessalonians, 4 : 13 - 18)

I love you, and will continue to pray for you and your family. Love, Suzanne Carpenter
