Robert L. Gray III

Robert L. "Bob" Gray III passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He loved the outdoors, traveling, boating, playing golf, music and cinema, but most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his faithful wife of 52 years, Susan Gray and his two sons, Rob Gray and Paul Gray. He is also survived by his sister, Dial Winn and his two grandchildren, Gavin Gray and Campbell Gray. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Gray II and Lewill Gray. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Live Oak United Methodist Church. Visiting hours will take place from 9:30am until services at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Foundation in support of the Lauren Savoy Olinde Endowed Fund. The family would also like to extend our sincere thanks to caregivers at both Legacy Hospice and Magnolia Brook Senior Living.
