Ruby Shaver Obituary

Ruby F. Shaver, 87, a resident of Zachary, LA, died on Monday, March 19, 2018 at her home. She was a former employee of Baker Valve and Machine. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 9am until funeral services at 11am, conducted by Mike Tippit. Burial will be at Azalea Rest Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Andre; one son, Marty Richardson and his wife Angela; two sisters, Ruth Hardy of Rayville, LA; Jackie Rosvet of Nebraska; six grandchildren: Amy Anderson, Catherine Frank, Emily Smith, Jessica Langlois, Tyler Richardson, Kenedie Richardson; five great-grandchildren: Lily Frank, Olivia Smith, Isabella Smith, Alex Frank, and Jackson Langlois. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Shaver; parents Jack and Quida Freeland; three sisters Kathleen Freeland, Maudie Pearce, and Maggie Morris. Pallbearers will be Jerry Anderson, Josh Smith, Alex Frank, Tyler Richardson, Tommy Langlois, and Kevin Johnson. The family wishes to give special thanks to Evonne Macera, Debbie Hope, Pam Jackson, and Claudette Helm for their tender and loving care.
