Sam Singleton Obituary

A farmer and a retired laborer, he died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at 4:50 a.m. at his home. He was 63 and a resident and native of Jackson. Visiting at Richardson Funeral Home, Clinton, on Friday, Jan. 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at F.T. Baptist Church, Jackson, at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Richard London Sr. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Kassandra Dunn, Baton Rouge, and Lakisha Dunn, Jackson; three sons, Rodney and Dontae Dunn, both of Jackson, and Kendall Dunn, Baton Rouge; five sisters, Alma Sheppard, Laura James, Margarey Singleton, Rosie Haney and Adeline Thomas; two brothers, Albert and Martin Singleton; and nine grandchildren.
