We are very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Please know that our prayers are with you. Although
our visits(usually at Tony's) were infrequent since we moved to Denham, we enjoyed catching up on how the kids were doing. Jacob was especially touched and sends his prayers to Morgan and Cody.

My sympathy on Steve's passing. I met Steve in 1985 when we both worked out at Wallbanger at noon. Later I got to know him at Tony's.
Steve was always willing to help me get all we needed for the
M. B. S. Lenten Dinners. After Katrina we fed about 5000 people in Bogalusa and got to meet several National Guardsman from Pennsylvania. Their only request was for crawfish in Sept. I called Steve and as always he came through and the next weekend we went to Bogalusa and fed 100 National Guardsmen 300 # of Crawfish and 100 # fried catfish.As always he made it happen.
I will miss him very much.

The Bueche Family,
I will always remember Mr. Steve for his kind heart. He was such an awesome guy. It's so awesome to think about how many people that guy touched. I mean, there were SO many people at his wake on Wednesday. I have never been to a wake that was soo crowded! Mr. Steve touched so many people and was loved by everyone. I bet ya'll are soo proud to be able to call him YOUR dad and husband, I know I would. I will always remember when he coached our YMCA softball team and how he gave us a discount on our crawfish every year because they were so expensive. He was a truly great guy. Even though i haven't seen him in years, I will miss him so much. He was a great father, friend, and an awesome athlete. I just hate to see this happen to him. But, you just have to remember one thing: he is in a much better place now and he will always be with you, no matter what. He is watching over you and he loved all of ya'll so much. I had not seen Steve in many years but I remember him well from high school. I remember his good nature. I did see him some years ago at a race in Baton Rouge. May the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, comfort his family and friends.

Debbie and Family, Thank you for sharing your husband and his generous spirit with all the people of St. Jean Vianney and Redemptorist High School.I appreciate and will never forget the crawfish boil for the SJV volleyball team. The crawfish were perfect. Everyone had a great day with their families because of his kindness. His face gleemed everytime Morgan hit the court.

I did not know Steve well at all but I hope you all find a piece of comfort in these heart warming memories shared by so many people whose lives were touched by him. Debbie, you are a strong woman, a dedicated and loving Mom. I do know this about you. And Morgan and Cody are good kids; really sweet, kind-hearted ones. With each other's love, you can get through this. I don't know how. Maybe just cry really really hard, like I am, imagining myself in your very shoes. On April 21, 2002 Debbie and Steve generously provided the volleyball players and their parents with an end of the season crawfish boil and day of family fun. Both Steve and Debbie shared their time and talents as they always have with SJV
