Steve M. Mabry Sr.

Mabry Sr., Steve M. Mr. Steve M. Mabry Sr. died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss. He was 85. A native of Yokena, Miss., he had lived in Baton Rouge for some 30 years before returning to Vicksburg. Mr. Mabry was a production supervisor for Arigo Chemical Co. for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II where he served in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Mabry was preceded in death by his parents, Steven D. and Beulah Child Mabry; daughter, Catherine Mabry; brother, James Simrall; and half-brother, Elbie Mabry. Mr. Mabry is survived by his wife, Marie Williamson Mabry; two sons, Steve Jr. and wife Karen and John J. and wife Millie; two granddaughters, Jean Marie and Julie Mabry; two stepgrandchildren, Mary Grayson Tamburello and Trey Sherman Natalie; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Whitney Watson, Jake Tamburello, Olivia Sherman and Grayson Sherman. Visiting at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home, Vicksburg, on Monday from 10 a.m. until service at noon, the Rev. John Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Vicksburg. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Williamson, Josh Williamson, Michael Elrod, Mike Whitehead, Kevin Whitehead and Mike Ables. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Russell Barnes, M.D., and Dr. David M.
