Thomas James Gordon Sr.

Thomas James Gordon Sr., a resident of Baton Rouge, La., a beloved husband, father, and grandfather was taken home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was 62 years old. He was an excellent provider, protector, and follower of Jesus Christ. He met his beloved wife, Peggy Gordon, at the age of 14 and they became inseparable. They were bonded in marriage for 39 years. His passion was his family and sharing his faith in God with others. He was a very joyful, compassionate, loving, kind, and caring man who made friends everywhere he went. He was committed to his family and proud of his children. He spent most of his life working in the chemical plant industry. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Peggy Gordon; 3 children, Thomas Gordon Jr. (Sevita), Pamela White (Rudolph), and Natasha Gordon; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Eloise Nelson; aunt, Mattie Wilkerson; 2 sisters, Charlene Gordon and Carolyn Banks; 1 brother, Alfred Gordon, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his stepfather, Albert Nelson, and 1 brother, Robert Banks. A private service and burial will be conducted. He will be forever loved, missed, and remembered.
