Hearing of "Daddio's" recent hospital visit, I wondered about this upcoming season in your lives - especially with Mommio awaiting at heaven's gate - reflecting on all those upcoming peaks and valleys - if he was hearing that welcoming voice, tapping the eternal for an invitation to that journey within - living (God's mystery story), that Paschal Mystery - to "Go Home", like Hansel and Gretel, gathering up the crumbs of God's grace to get home; and as for all of YOU, those wrenching stages in the sacrament of letting go...

What WONDERFUL memories we all have of your father, such a defined GENTLEMAN, SO LOVING, downright CHARMING is how I'll always remember him. You always felt cared for and loved with him. He was so much fun. WHAT A GEM. My heart goes out to you all...

Comfort and peace to you as he greets "Mommio at the gate" with a table set for dinner with Lois and Kelly! "It's DADDIO, I'm HOME !"

Dear Babs and family,

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I know Mr. Roy will be dearly missed. I remember going tailgating with you, your momma and daddy by our dorm. Those were good times, and your parents were always very gracious, and welcoming. I hope God will console and comfort you, and your family at this time. I pray God will give you the strength and courage you need to get through this difficult time.

Daddy-O,
I'll always remember what a special man you were, and I'll always cherish the special memories you've given me. They're so very close to my heart. Whenever I'm feeling low, I promise to think back to the times when I was a little girl, and you played silly games with me in your living room. You were THE best playmate a little girl could ask for! I'll also remember what a great dance partner you were! You were always my first choice at weddings to dance with. I like to picture you and Mommy-o, both at peace, holding hands and laughing together in Heaven.

I love you,
Amy
