Denise, Bo, Duke,

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Tom´s passing. His quiet and dignified demeanor was a constant reminder of what it was to me a "Gentle Man". He was in all the best respects a gentleman and role model. His quiet humor and sly smile will always be missed.

I was so sorry to hear about Tom, Jr. Know I haven´t seen him ( or any Staples cousins) in a long time but I do have lots of fond memories. Tom was always so good to his "city" cousins. I remember he taught me to ride a horse and to milk a cow. He was a good man and I know we will all miss him.

Our visits to Clinton to see Tom & Reba were always wonderful! I remember Tom's cooked to order breakfasts every morning (as long as you were up at a decent time!) Rest in peace. Hug Reba for me, and my Moma when you see her.
