Vicki Terry Obituary

Vicki Laughlin Terry, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend left this world peacefully at her Baton Rouge home on April 26th, 2024 at the age of 73. She thoroughly enjoyed her time quilting with "the girls" and made many quilts that will be cherished for generations. She also enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers and never met a dog she didn't want to take home. Survived by her Son, Thomas Neill Terry and Wife Carly Terry; Grandchildren, Ayden and Adeline Terry; Sister in law, Marsha Terry Williams and Husband Clyde Williams. Vicki is preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Chapman Laughlin; Father, William Laughlin , two brothers, Steven Laughlin and "Billy" Laughlin; and husband, Neill Herman Terry. Loved working with Vicky Terry, at LSU. What a character! I was always glad to run into her, because she always had a smirk on her face
and something clever to say. No more luncheons at the Union, we will need to have a rendezvous, when I get to Heaven. God bless you, Vicky!

Oh my gosh, I´m so sorry to hear this! Although we´ve never met in person we did via phone conversations when she worked for the Geography and Anthropology department at LSU when I was employed at Co-op Bookstore. RIP dear lady!
