Victor "Vic" Zito

Victor "Vic" Zito passed away at the age of 93, surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017. He was an Army Veteran and retired ironworker from Local 623. He enjoyed working in his garden and cutting his grass. He is survived by his wife of 69 1/2 years, Marie Peranio Zito. His children Gary (Arleen Pizzolato) Zito and Sandra (Johnny) Canezaro. His grandchildren Dawn (Buck) Bergeron, Marcie (Charles) Cazayoux, Jay (Tanya) Canezaro, Tara (Kevin) Dugas and Ryan (Nora) Zito. His great-grandchildren Tyler (Jarred) Murphy, Gage Jarreau, Wyatt Soprano, Trent Bergeron, Drew Zito, Emily and Camille Cazayoux, Noah Dugas, Colby Canezaro, Pierce Goff, Beau Zito and Noah Murphy. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Fordoche, on Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 9-noon for friends. Mass will be held at noon. Burial will follow at Livonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Gueho, Ricky and Al Montelaro. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank his caregivers: Dianna, Janice, Jill, Staci, and Peggy.
