Warren Crockett, Sr. was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was born to the union of Clarence Joseph Crockett, Sr. and Lucy Kibby Crockett on May 5, 1952. He passed away at the age of 72 on Saturday, September 22, 2024, at 4:30 a.m., surrounded by loving family. Warren Crockett, Sr. was a much-loved father, grandfather, brother, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his two children Warren "Rocky" Crockett, Jr. (Heather) of Prairieville, Louisiana and Dwan "Doo" Jones (Troy) of Douglasville, GA. He also leaves D'Juana Cage and Bryson Houston whom he loved and nurtured as his own children; five grandchildren, Hailee E. Crockett (Luke), Troy A. Jones, Jr. (Shachia), Joshua W. Crockett (Kourtney), Chanceller J. Jones, and Hunter W. Jones, two great-grandchildren, Chiroy Jones and Remi Crockett; two brothers, Clarence Joseph Crockett, Jr. and Alton Crockett Sr.; three sisters Velma Phillips (James), Cheryl Crockett, and Rose Marie Carter; and three Godchildren, Latoya Crockett Finley, Dane Evan Patin, and Ricky Ray, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Edwards Crockett of 53 years, mother Lucy Kibby Crockett; father, Clarence Crockett, Sr.; brother, James Crockett, Sr., his mother-in-law, Audrey T. Matthews, father-n-law, Floyd Edwards, Sr.; and brothers-in-law, Floyd Edwards, Jr, Alvin Edwards, and Darrell Wayne Edwards. The family is truly grateful for the medical professionals, hospice care members, neighbors, friends, and all others who were so kind to us during our beloved Warren Crockett's extended illness. May you be richly blessed. We wish special blessings for Bryson Houston, Alton Crockett, Sr., Janice Edwards, Kim Houston, Ricky Ray, and Vanessa Trask, who made it possible for Warren Crockett to live his final years in the peace and comfort of his own home.
