I am in Germany where the sad new has reached me. Pete was a great guy: smart, funny, and just plain nice. I treasure our friendship and all those moments, minutes, and hours we talked about history. A good, good man he was. Charles Elliott

I hired on with Pete at Exxon in 1975, and worked with him for nearly thirty years. We continued to keep in touch after we left. He was my friend. We will miss him.......Mike Stuart

OLIVE MAE, BETTY, AND FARREN I WAS SO SHOCKED TO HEAR ABOUT PETE. I KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED BY SO MANY. PLEASE KNOW MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL AS YOU FACE THE DAYS AHEAD. IT IS SO HARD TO ADJUST WHEN YOU LOOSE SOMEONE YOU LOVE, I KNOW. BUT TIME HEALS ALL THINGS AND THEN YOU BEGIN TO HOLD ON TO ALL THE MEMORIES YOU HAVE AND YOU MAKE IT SOMEHOW. LOVE YOU ALL, BRENDA FLOYD

My heart is heavy for your loss.
God's word says, "lean not in your own understanding but trust God"
Sometimes that is hard to do but we must trust God to see us through these hard times. My love is with you all. My prayers are with you all.

Pete would never be at a loss for words as I am. He would not only know what to say, but would stir in a large portion of life's humor. I know the memories of this wonderful, joyous, precious Son and Father, and the prayers of so very many that loved him, will help to sustain you all through this time of temporary loss, until you meet again. May God pour out His Love, comfort and blessings on those Pete leaves behind.
