Sandy & family- I am so saddened to hear about Bill's passing. He was such a kind and generous man. I've known Bill for a long time through the Baton Rouge Human Resources community. He was always helping someone and I remember that everytime I would see him, he would give me a big "bear hug." I am certainly going to miss his presence here but know he is in a wonderful place now. God Bless all of you. Marianne Frazee

Sandy & family, I just found out about Bill's passing. He was a good friend to all of us at M/B. I would talk to him about once a year, trying to keep up with old employees. I was going to call him when I came back to B.R. in Dec. I live in B'Ham, Al now & couldn't be there for the services. Keep Bill in your heart's & memories, I know I will.

Sandy: Tom and I are so sorry to hear about Bill. We certainly would have been in touch sooner, but Tom had both of his knees replaced on August 1st and he is now in a rehab hospital. We both hope to see you soon.

To The Hamblin Family,
Bill was a tremendous mentor and friend in the years I was priviledged to work with and for him at Goudchaux's and Wireless One. His quiet, thorough, and intuitive approach to Human Resources has been the model for my professional life. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. Sincerely,
Sandy Simoneaux

Dear The Hamblin Family,
I am so sorry for you loss of such a wonderful man. Mr. Bill and I worked together at Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin'. I truely enjoyed my time spent with him. I learned so many valuable lessons from him. I treasure those years that I was able to spend with him. He loved with such an open heart. There wasn't a day that went by without him telling a story about his beloved grand-children, his son and daughter and of course his beloved bride. I'm sorry for you loss. He will truely be missed by many many people.

Bill was such a special and sincere person that will be rememberd by so many of us. He showed his friendship to me when I was hired at Goudchaux's in 1982. I became fond of him during the ten years we worked together. He became one of my favorite people in this world. I will miss his emails and friendship. He has been the one to hold many of the former employees together. My sincere sympathy to his family. This is truly a great loss to all of us.

Great Uncle Roy,
I just wanted to say so long for now, but I will see you one day in the kingdom of the Lord. I know that your sisters and brother had a great time coming down and visiting you when you was ill. They will hold those members with them until they see you again. We will miss you.
LOVE,
William Christopher "Chris" Clark

Mr. Bill was the definition of a southern gentleman. He was always ready to lend an ear and offer solid advice. My wife and I not only enjoyed working with him at Blue Bayou, but enjoyed our personal conversations with him as well. We will miss you Mr.Bill.

Bill was strong until the end and, like he told Sandy not long before he died, "I will always be with you." We know he meant it, and for many of his friends, he will always be with us, too. Truly, he was the voice of reason in a sea of stress and reliable when there was no one else.

Bill and Sandy have been our friends from our first day in Baton Rouge. Bill was always there with a kind word and friendly smile. He and Dan had some great fishing trips together and Bill always was there for council with Dan when needed. He was a great friend as well as a wonderful, kind and caring man. We shall miss him, but know that he is in a better place. Love to you, Sandy and "little" Bill..Love, Margy and Dan
