William Robillard Obituary

William Harold Robillard died peacefully in his home on July 3, 2023, in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 87. Harold was born on January 15, 1936, in Morganza, LA to his parents Garnett and Mae Robillard. He married Barbara Swindler in 1956 and they eventually moved to Baton Rouge where both Harold and Barbara worked for Exxon. Harold also enjoyed coaching AAU basketball and riding around on the "houseboat" with friends and family in his free time. Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, his brother Roy, and his parents. Harold is survived by his children, Jeffery Robillard (Kathy), Jennifer Thurman, and Todd Robillard (Tammie). Harold is also survived by his grandchildren, Meghan Robillard Woodcox (Nick), Shane Robillard (Ariel), Sarah Thurman LaGrone (Matthew); Kaitlin Robillard, Kaci Robillard, Kade Robillard, Hannah Navarre (Ethan), and Bradley Bergeron as well as his 8 great-grandchildren. The family will host a memorial on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Harold's private residence, 4436 Country Hill Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, 70816 where friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please donate on Harold's Behalf to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I worked at EXXON. I first met Harold over in the warehouse in 1978. Harold will be greatly missed. I really appreciated his great guidance. He was truly a stand up guy. Sid Cull
