Michael James Obituary
In 1974 Mike and his wife Sandy began building their first house here, and moved in during the summer of 1976. They would go onto building 3 of their 6 houses they enjoyed in Alpine.
Together they would bring their growing insurance agency to Alpine in the early 90's, and occupied four different locations for almost 20 years. He retired from the building he built across the street from where his father had built Alpine first market decades prior (Sherriff's Department and Dollar Tree.)
He was quiet a philanthropist of many Alpine endeavors and proud of his family's contributions to a growing town.
Mike passed from complications due to pneumonia on June 22nd, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, sons Michael and Jeremy, and beloved grandchildren - Javin. Jase and Juliana

My condolences to all of Michael's family and friends. I worked for Michael at his insurance agency in Alpine more than 20 years ago and I had a great respect for his intense passion for his business and treatment of his employees. We worked hard but Michael still managed to fit in some fun employee outings while I was there. Joanne
