Blaine Hammond Obituary

Blaine Allen Hammond, 41, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He is the son of James A. Hammond of Lawrenceburg and the late Barbara Ann Harlow Hammond, who died Sept. 19, 2010.
In his teenage years, Blaine enjoyed playing football for Anderson County Bearcats and riding his dirt bike. He was a former employee of IGA in Lawrenceburg.
Blaine is also survived by a son, Blaine Cody Hammond; a sister, Lucinda Inabnitt (Brad); nieces, Amanda Bess (Shane), Heather Cummins (Aaron), Morgan Inabnitt, and Gracie Inabnitt, all of Lawrenceburg; two aunts, Connie Buntain (Charles Owen) of Lawrenceburg and Margaret Thompson of Harrodsburg; an uncle, Kenneth Harlow (Bernadette) of Perryville.
Along with his mother he was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Evelyn Hammond, and Samuel and Lucille Harlow, and two uncles, Donald Ray Hammond and Sammie Harlow.
Funeral services were held Sept. 22 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating.
Burial followed in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cody Hammond, Brad Buntain, Aaron Cummins, Shane Bess, Mark Peach and Keith Nowlin.
Memorials are suggested to the Sand Spring Baptist Church, 1616 Harrodsburg Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.

I will never forget playing football with you Blaine. You were a happy-go-lucky young man. I came to visit you after your accident. I will always remember the expressions of love I saw in your father after your accident and how much you were dearly loved by your family. Rest easy my fellow Bearcat!
