James "J.D." Douglas Barnes, 56

James "J.D." Douglas Barnes, 56, husband of Brenda Barnes, passed away July 21, 2025. James was the son of Mary Alena Gatens Wilkinson and the late Clark Douglas Barnes.
James is survived by his wife, Brenda Dianne Kukal Barnes; seven children, Johnathan Harmon, Tyler Harmon, Amber Barnes, Jacob Denson (Shaunda Stella), Alisha Amos, David Wolverton (Stephanie) and Travis Wolverton (Allie); a brother, Timothy Barnes; 11 grandchildren, Adrianna, Kaiden, Brayden, McKinnley, Colton, Daniel, John-David, Nevaeh, Jensen, Connor and Nora; numerous cousins; several aunts and uncles; and his mother-in-law, Betty Kukal.
Including his father James was preceded in death by his son, Lane Barnes; his stepfather, Mike Wilkenson; and his father-in-law, Jimmie Kukal.

James was always a good hearted person he was always there for me years ago and throughout the years we remained friends...he was funny, loving, friendly, talented and he will be missed. R.I.P. James prayers to his family.
