Robert Grubbs Obituary

Robert Jeffrey "Jeff" Grubbs, 44, of Lawrenceburg died July 17, 2014 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ky. 
Born Dec. 3, 1969 in Louisville, he was the son of David Grubbs and Mary Sue Cheek Howard, both of Anderson County.
Jeff was a former truck driver for Mago Construction.  Known as the "Shade Tree Mechanic" he enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle.
Besides his parents, Jeff is survived by his wife of 24 years, Danetta Reeder Grubbs; a daughter, Daneka Brooke Grubbs; a brother, Keith (Laura Kathleen) Grubbs; a niece, Ashlie Grubbs, all of Anderson County and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, July 22 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Charles Long, Bro. F.D. Robinson, Jr., and Josh Stansbury officiated. 
Memorials are suggested to The ALS Association.
