Russell Murphy Obituary
Russell L. Murphy, age 78, passed away
Oct. 5, 2025. He retired from Malone
& Hyde and Doc Holiday Mold Company. After his retirement he couldn't sit still and became a Wal-Mart door greeter for the next 10 years.
He is survived by his children, David Murphy (Heather) and Dana Murphy (Ricky Reynolds); grandsons, Dalton Murphy (Serenity) and Devin Murphy (Aly).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Murphy and Addie B. Simpson Murphy; and three siblings, Buddy, Donnie and Anna.
Whether it was telling a good story, watching his son race dirt track, spending time with his beloved grandsons or working on his old '77 Chevy pickup he always had a smile and time for conversation.
Cremation is under the direction of Noon & Son Funeral Home.
Noon & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with final care.
