Albert Slaton Obituary

Albert Lowell Slaton was born on July 13, 1958, in San Diego, CA., to Charles and Judy (Peck) Slaton. He passed from this life on May 24, 2022 at the age of 63. Albert was a lifelong resident of Valliant, except for his last three years, which he spent in Rattan. He married Jacqueline (Jaci) Klass on December 8, 1997 in Arkansas. They were married for over twenty years. Albert worked as a mobile home mover for over twenty-five years and really loved his job. He was an outdoors-man who loved hunting and fishing ponds. Albert never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the circumstance. He was considered a handyman and a hard worker. Albert stood by his word and believed you should always do right by people. He loved his family above all else and spent as much time as he could with them. Albert will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Judy Slaton; brothers, Charles "Sunny" Slaton and Ralph Edward Slaton, and sister, Fay Lynn Wagoner. Albert is survived by his wife, Jaci of the home; son, Travis; daughter, Tracy; brothers, Raymond Slaton and wife Cathy of Valliant, Edward Slaton and wife Regina of Bethel; sisters, Brenda Lininger and husband Clint of Valliant, Charlene Slaton of Valliant, Lori Bullard and husband Joe of Wright City; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime friend and business partner, Steve Haygood; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones. In keeping with Albert's final wishes, no funeral services will be held. Interment took place at Valliant City Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Valliant, Oklahoma.
